• Chris Edrington

    OWNER & FOUNDER

I was addicted to heroin for nearly the entire decade of the 90’s. I spent years in Boulder, NYC, and Los Angeles floundering in the music scene, having no semblance of a life outside of the world of drugs. I found my way to MN in 1998 and was welcomed into the sober community by others with very similar stories but who had worked hard and created new lives. The beginning was tough. I had to start from scratch. Any addict will tell you, to find real comfort in this world just existing and participating in this world is something precious and wonderful. I surrounded myself with people committed to their sobriety or at least committed to ending the chaos, and started to build a life here in Minnesota. I began to see real change in my perspective and I learned how to maintain that. I now have a life that feels like mine. I am now over 20 years sober.
